I bet you guys are as happy as I am to get Shannon Doherty's face moved down a little and for me to finally type a new post. I have been quickly reading every one's blogs, but I haven't had time to post any. We have been so busy these last few weeks!!
Our 4th weekend was busy, but fun!! We were running somewhere different everyday. Most of the days were spent with family and friends. We had fun in The Wahlin's pool and enjoyed spending time with relatives at my parents cabin. The St. Joe street dance was a lot of fun. Maybe not for Robin because she volunteered to watch all of the kids so we could go out. She is such a trooper and even had beds made up for all of the adults when we came home. Needless to say Kyle was a pile the next day. Kyle, Mike, Robin and I ran in the St. Joe 5K on Saturday, July 5th. I placed 3rd in my age group and got a metal. Kyle was pretty proud of me.
This last week Kyle's parents rented a cabin on Big Fish. We stayed out there from Friday to Tuesday night. The kids were good and had a blast playing with their cousins. Evan became a pro tuber and now goes all by himself. He wanted to try water skiing, I told him we should maybe wait until next year. We do have kid water ski's that were Katie's when she was little. It was fun to get together with the family and spend time away from home.
Last Sunday Kyle, Mike, Robin, people from my work, and I rode in The Tour of Saints. It is a 35 or 50 mile bike ride through Central MN. We started at St. Bens went to Cold Spring then to St John's and Avon and then back to St. Bens. The weather was great, not too hot. One guy told me it was 20 degrees cooler then last year. We biked against the wind almost the entire way. We ended up doing the 50 mile route which took us about 4 1/2 hours.
Today is Kyle's and my 6 year anniversary. I wanted to go to Vegas but I think I might get dinner and a movie instead. We haven't really talked about where we are going to eat or which movie. It will be nice to have some alone time with Kyle. I can't remember the last time we went out alone. I might go shopping this afternoon for a bedroom set. Happy Anniversary to me:)
