Happy New Year!! Last night we rang in the New Year with our kids at Partners Pub/Great River Bowl. The kids had a blast Extreme Bowling, eating pizza, and spending time with their friends. They even had party favors for the kids and did the countdown early in the evening for the little ones. Evan and Sydney enjoyed bowling and Mara and Olivia enjoyed dancing to the music.
At about 8:30 p.m. we went home and got the kids ready for bed. Mara and Olivia were asleep in less than 5 minutes. One of our friends offered to bring their kids and their sitter to our house so we could go out with them. Evan and Sydney set up their sleeping bags in the living room for their slumber party with Taylor and Peyton. I thought they would be asleep in no time. According to the sitter they were very excited to stay up and ring in the New Year a second time. She said they made it until 12:05 a.m. They slept until after 8 a.m. this morning and were a lot less crabby than I thought they would be. We went to a couple different places in Sartell. It was a fun night. This was the first year in 4 years that I stayed up until midnight!!
