What's new?

As always, it's been awhile since my last post. We have been busy with school, work and life in general. Our home computer shut down last week. It's sounds like it is going to be quite expensive to fix versus buying something new. Kyle has had his work laptop home in the evenings, but it's always hard to find time to sneak on. We are looking into buying a laptop instead of a desktop.
This past weekend I spent some time away with a group of girl friends. We left on Saturday morning and did some shopping in Albertville and Maple Grove. We checked into a hotel in Minneapolis and went out for dinner. The purpose of the getaway was to run the Twin Cities 10 mile on Sunday morning. It was a great time. The run was beautiful and the weather was great. The name of our team was... I'd Rather Be Shopping. After the 10 mile what did we do? Shop some more. The weather was cold and the kids were in the house all weekend. I think Kyle was glad to see me return home. Can't wait for next year though!!
Today I went on a field trip with Sydney's preschool class to Munsinger Garden's. The kids had fun and I froze. This afternoon I went on a field trip with Evan's kindergarten class to the Collegeville Apple Orchard. Again, the kids enjoyed exploring and I froze. I guess I am not ready for this weather. I took a lot of pictures, but I don't have a computer to download them on to.
The new thing with Olivia and Mara is that they refuse to wear anything but "pretty dresses." They want to wear their Easter dresses every hour of everyday. When those are in the wash they wear a Cinderella and a Snow White costume dress. I had them dressed this morning before I left and I actually got Olivia to wear a pair of jeans. Mara had to wear a skirt with tights. I came home two hours later and they had their pj dresses back on. The pjs are considered pretty dresses because they are pink and frilly. I was looking for dresses online and I asked Mara why the little girls in the pictures wear jeans and she can't. Mara said, "Mama, I don't want to wear jeans, I need to wear a pretty dress." What am I in for??
