Weekend Update!!

We had such a great 3 day weekend. There were no major plans and we were able to get a lot done around the house. We had a Rockband Party in Melrose at Mollie and Ryan's on Friday night. I forgot my camera, but I know Mollie had hers. The pics might be on her blog. It was a late night, but the kids slept until 8 a.m. on Saturday morning (what a treat).
Saturday we did some work around the house. Kyle put the edging in around the swing set. I forgot to post that the swing set is finished!! It was a lot of hard work on Kyle's part, but it looks great. The rock is coming tomorrow. I will take a picture when it is completely done.
Saturday evening we went to Cori and Pat's to celebrate Pat's 31st Birthday. I still wish we could have helped him celebrate his 30th last year in Las Vegas. The girls were so little and I was worried about leaving them, so we didn't go. We ordered pizza and just hung out over there for awhile. Nice and relaxing and we didn't annoy an entire restaurant with our loud/extremely energetic children.
Sunday evening we had a BBQ with all of our neighbors. The late afternoon/evening was nice and surprisingly hot in the sun. Later we had our first bon fire of the season. The kids love to get together and play. Our neighbors Beth and Tim have a fenced in backyard, so the kids can run free and we don't have to worry about who is in the road. The night didn't get too late and the kids slept in again.
Today was more cleaning and work around the house. I'm sure it doesn't sound relaxing, but I like weekends when I feel like I get something accomplished. I am trying to get things ready for the garage sale too. I am so excited to clean house. We have so much I need to get rid of!!
