We're alive!!

I'm back. I have taken a long blogging break. As summer is getting closer it is getting harder and harder to find the time to get on the computer. I still check in and read the blogs, but find it hard to post my own updates.
Where have The Wahlin's been? This goes weeks back, but Cori and I had a pretty successful garage sale at the beginning of May. It was crazy busy and at times we had lines of people. I packed everything I didn't sell into one tote and will save it for next year. It was so exciting to get rid of all of that stuff and make some extra cash. That same weekend we headed to Duluth with Christal and Ian for Pat Malley's 30th Birthday. As always it was a great time!!
I decided that I was unable to keep helping Mike and Robin out at the salon. Kyle has been busy with softball on Wednesday nights so I switched my day and was now working on Tuesday nights. I was running from the dental office to the salon. I didn't get home until 8:15 pm and my kids were already in bed. They missed their mom and I missed the whole day with them. Maybe once Kyle is done with softball on Wednesday nights and I have the whole day off with the kids I will be ready for a break again.
Sydney was pretty sick over Mother's Day. I spent the entire morning and most of the afternoon laying in bed with her. She insisted that I stay by her side. Kyle took Evan, Mara and Olivia to brunch with his family while Syd and I slept. It took her a good week to get over this and she was finally her old self again late last week.
Evan only has four more days of preschool. It is so hard for me to believe that he will be in Kindergarten. Last Wednesday I went with his class on a field trip to Corborn's in Sartell. The kids enjoyed it and I enjoyed learning about the grocery world.
The biggest news is that we are finally getting a deck put on!! I am so excited!! I will have to post some pictures when it is complete. We hired our neighbor Tim to do the deck for us and Kyle has been helping as much as he can. I really have been a single mom the last few weekends. It is a lot of work, but it will be well worth it. We are planning on having a BBQ soon to break it in.
I have some recent pictures I need to post so stay tuned!!
