"Let's have a sleepover!"

We had another fun-filled weekend. On Friday night we went to a neighborhood Lia Sophia party at The Mathiasen's. The husbands and kids were invited to tag along. The guys watched basketball downstairs and the kids ran around (literally). After the party Evan and Sydney invited Cade and Logan to spend the night. I posted a few pictures of their sleepover. Since we didn't get home until 10 pm and they were sleeping by 11 pm they didn't have time to get too rowdy. They got up in the morning and had pancakes and were able to play for a few hours.
I have the stomach flu that started late Friday night. I spent most of the day yesterday lying on the couch. I still don't feel 100%. Kyle made his way to the mall yesterday afternoon. The mall is usually somewhere Kyle frequents once a year. He decided he was fed up with always having to watch Sponge Bob, icarly, and Drake and Josh. He was in search of a tv to put in our kitchen. As I am lying sick on the couch, he loaded up Sydney, Olivia, and Mara and headed to Target. He bought an under-counter tv. We have been having problems getting our cable to work on it. We are going to call the company tomorrow and if we can't figure it out it will have to go back. If anyone knows anything about that stuff let me know.
Today was such a beautiful day. Evan and Kyle went to church this morning while I ran some errands with the girls. This afternoon Evan went to a b-day party at the Sartell bowling alley. This evening we went to celebrate Kyle's b-day with my parents. My Dad grilled steaks and chicken and my Mom made Kyle a cake. The cake collapsed, but still tasted good. Kyle now knows where I get my baking skills. He got a new weed whacker for his b-day. My Dad tried to fix our old trimmer and it ended up in a million pieces in his garage.
